Between autumn 2019 and spring 2020, 70 experimental sites of 20 ares (0.5 acre) (representing almost 30,000 trees), spread across 19 locations all over the country, were planted as part of the Arboretums project. These plantings will be monitored regularly so that the species tested can be assessed in terms of their, their growth and their shape. An initial tracking programme was carried out at the end of last spring in order to assess the level to which the trees planted have taken.
